Located in Stamford Bridge, a village rich in history and scene of The Battle of Stamford Bridge which marked the end of the Viking era in Britain, Weir Holiday Park as its name suggests sits beside the beautiful weir. The village itself is divided in two by the River Derwent; and our Holiday Park is within the river, on an island accessed only by a bridge. The stunning surroundings provide a haven for wildlife, and visitors alike.

Owned by the Hind family, Weir Holiday Park has been awarded a David Bellamy Award for protecting and enhancing the natural world and is certified as Honey Bee Friendly. We have also recently obtained a 5 in 5 Award for our Hedgerows which are now recognised as being wildlife friendly.
